Latest Umind News
Umind is Canada’s premiere online resource for child and youth mental health professionals. Umind is all about connections. It links professionals to one other and the resources they need to help improve the lives of children, youth, and their families living with mental health issues. The Umind network includes discussion, mentoring, and learning opportunities, enabling mental health professionals to connect, collaborate and share in ways never before possible.
This national knowledge exchange initiative is the result of a partnership between the Kids’ Health Links Foundation (KHLF) and the Lutherwood Institute for Children and Youth Mental Health. It is comprised of the generous contributions and collaboration between children and youth mental health treatment and resource centres across Canada. Registered members have access to practical tools, promising interventions, and a network of child and youth mental health professionals.
The Umind Webinar Series
The newest resource available to Umind members and even non-members is the Umind Webinar Series. Launched in December 2014, this webinar series was created in response to an expressed need by children and youth mental health professionals for more accessible practice-specific professional development opportunities.
